About The Athlete
Tanya joined CFC spring 2016, looking for something new exercise-wise with an interesting in experiencing what “crossfit” was all about. Her excitement with every movement and positive energy was noticeable even from the first class and since than it seems that it has only grown.
Tanya is almost a daily regular in either our crossfit and bootcamp classes and is always a favorite to coach and chat with. Her strength, conditioning and movement progress has grown leaps and bounds since joining and we can only imagine it will continue to do so into the future.
We feel honored to have a person and personality such as Tanya be a part of our growing CFC community. Keep up the awesome work and congrats Tanya!

Coaches Comments
Tanya has been an awesome addition to the CFC community. She quietly goes about building muscles and killing the metcons. From day 1 I have always been impressed with her mobility, well more like jealous. She is flawless when she squats and has continued to build her strength. She is always so happy to and upbeat and is killing it this summer with the boot camp and regular class. Which by the way is so impressive that she brings all this energy to class every time. I love it after a metcon that she destroys and says that was a tough one cuz from where I am standing you made it look easy. I hope she continues to get stronger and have a ton a fun with crossfit. – Coach Jason.
Tanya has an incredible sense of spirit and energy when she enters the gym, or any room for that matter, and that carries into the class atmosphere and workouts. When she started, the barbell was a new thing, always moving very hesitantly in somewhat of a controlled manner until she got more confident and comfortable with her strength and abilities, this has now translated into some excellent movement mechanics and allowed her to challenge herself in both skill progression and strength work. She loves a challenging workout and when that clock starts she gets right into the zone and gives it everything she has. “That was tough, I loved it” is the common phrase I hear after a crossfit class or bootcamp session. Her level of determination when she puts her mind to working on something in or outside of the gym is also incredible and I have no doubt that that determination will translate in to a lifetime of success in all her endeavors. Congrats Tanya! – Coach Taylor
Tanya is so enthusiastic about fitness! Whether she’s coming to CFC for CrossFit classes or bootcamp, she’s a joy to coach. Tanya is consistently improving on Olympic lifting and she pushes to lead through metcons. She’s a lot stronger than she thinks she is, which means I can only expect more from her! – Coach Michelle
Tanya is an absolute firecracker! Tanya has been with CrossFit Corydon for just over a year. When she joined, she was wide eyed and was open to anything we had her do. You could tell that Tanya wasn’t overly athletic, but you could tell where she lacked in athleticism she would make up for enthusiasm. My favorite part about Tanya is when she absolutely shocks herself with the amount of weight she can do now. I often coach her and tell her.. “Tanya toss at least 10 more lbs on there”, and at first she is shocked, then she lifts the weight (usually successfully) and is ecstatic. As a coach, seeing someone as excited as Tanya gets fires you up. Congrats Tanya on athlete of the month, you deserve it.! – Coach Shane
Sincerely,
